How do you get this to work if you only keep it for 4 months?
Thought it's a 24 Month Bill credit?

"Get reimbursed over 24 months
Receive $27.09 off each bill for 24 months
The credit is tied to the person who activated the device"

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm new to Google Fi deals!

I was on a able to upgrade my plan and still got the promotion.
I believe you lose your promotion if you downgrade I plan.
In the context of OP's question they were asking whether upgrade to get the deal THEN DOWNGRADE will work.

I am simply answering their question not stating all the possibility as I don't work for Fi

It's dumb that they don't allow Simply Unlimited customers to qualify. I've never seen them limit promos based on plan membership before.

Of course, you should not do this IF the other person has a Fi account, use only with another provider.
What do you mean? I have a Google One account (which means an inactive Fi account by default). I have a family member with an active Fi cell subscription who is helping me on this deal.

Yes, but they warned that they removed the phones from the boxes and discarded boxes and their contents.
they are cheaters, never send anything to gazelle. They removed my screen protector and scratched my iphone. trade in with samsung or apple or locally sell. People are more understanding than these small business trying to cheat customers.

Fi just wants you to PAY FOR 120 days of service to recoup some money. They don't care whether or not you actually use their service. If you want to give the phone to someone to use, activate the Fi SIM then remove it and stash the Fi SIM away (do not use it in another phone). The other person can use the phone with another provider's SIM, as long as it's not with Fi (because the phone cannot be associated with two Fi numbers at the same time).
activate it with an assigned (throw-away) number, remove the SIM card, give the phone to a friend, they activate it on another provider with a port of *their* preferred cell number?

I don't see any problems with doing so.

I had an old Fi account, reactivated, ported an old number to another phone, and this offer was instantly available. Worked no problem.

doesn't look like much of an upgrade from last year. may see if i can get a used s23 for like $300
The s24 has AI, that requires you to be signed in to Samsung to use. So basically, it is training the ai from you for free and then selling your data. Plus, you may take a photo of yourself in a pool, then I'd guess it wouldn't be crazy to think your pool photo might end up in someone else's ai request for a photo of someone in a pool. Neat!🤣 Same would be the I'm sure for the ai language translations. Read the eula and privacy statements carefully.

The Samsung trade-in deal is a horrible deal as you are trading a phone that's worth $500 or more in excellent condition.
For instance, with the trade-in, the S24 5G costs close to the Samsung's retail price, $550 for an S23 5G plus $250 in cash payment = $800+/-.

This Fi deal is far better at only $350+$80 for the 4 month service.
So, you can get the S24 5G for free if you sell the S23 5G for a net price of $430 or more. Do the math for your special situation.
Where are you getting $80 for 4 months of service? Mine is making me sign up for the $65 a month plan which would cost me $260 for service and not a good deal.
