Thumbs up everyone if you agree!
2. Yes, you can have your friend open up a line and pre-order for you.
3. In any cases, you can buy as many as you want but since is pre-order, you are limited to two orders per account.
For those that don't care about the extra storage, I would wait to do it in store. If they follow their own trend, the promo should still be active after pre-order period.
I am on google voice and using visible. Plan on going back visible after getting it unlocked.
S24+ with S23 trade-in .. $187 OTD after credit back and you can do the math with the S24U with +$300.00

I just want to mention one thing: While buying this phone, you can also get a new credit card and use this purchase to fulfill the requirement for the welcome bonus. After using a large amount to help complete the welcome bonus for the new credit card, you can change the payment account to a debit card. Then, two months later, request customer service to refund the trade-in value to the debit card. This not only helps complete the credit card's welcome bonus but also allows you to get cash back from the credit card. At the same time, cash back won't be reclaimed when the trade-in value is refunded. Last year, I refunded it to my credit card, so some of my cashback was deducted. However, at that time, I confirmed with customer service that it was feasible to switch to a debit card. This year, I will use a debit card to request the trade-in refund.
So I ordered the phone and it does say I will be charged $29 a month, I'm assuming for a new line. I don't need 5 lines. Is there any way to get around this?

Also, I read some posts saying Spectrum will also refund the difference in tax charged after they receive your trade in. Is that accurate?
Depends if you need the memory upgrade. I'm only around 80% usage on my S23 and... I basically never delete anything. I know other people take a LOT more photos and videos than I do though.
