I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

I ordered the S24 this morning and screwed up. I wanted to Pay In Full and accidently did the payment plan. I know I can pay it off at anytime. If I let the trade-in refund hit my account, can I use the credit on the account to pay for th enew phone in full, or should I just pay it off and wait for the refund to come later on, and then have them send the credit to my credit card. Thanks...
You could call and change payment

For what its worth, I paid in full and when the trade in hit my account I had a lot of credit that they immediately refunded without a call. I had called prior to ask what would happen and they said this. Seems to be best option to then use that money to pay off phone in your case.

Looks like it takes about 30 minutes before it'll allow you to pre-order another S24U and add a new line (with trade-in). I called to do it like the other guy suggested but during the call I was placed on hold and decided to try it again and lo and behold it allowed me to get to the "PLACE ORDER" screen.

That being said, the phone rep went ahead and cancelled my first order so he could place them both at the same time... only to find out he was also unable to order them together; however, he assured me that post-sale marketing team will catch these and the free line will apply upon billing activation. He also said he'd open an IT ticket to make sure but hopefully that's unnecessary.

So you can probably save yourself time by doing both online about 30 minutes apart or call in and they basically do the same thing (longer process) but without a "waiting period" between online orders. Can't believe you can't pre-order two devices/lines at a time regardless.
Thank you! I will try it that way.

Anyone else with just 1 free line and a $0 monthly Mobile bill notice a pending credit on your Estimated Next Bill?

Anyone sent their tradein device already? I sent mine on the 19th and they received it on 20th. The tracking does not show any progress on the assessment. I wonder when that would be complete and when I would see the refund. Reps telling me it takes 2-3 billing cycles
You need to stay in touch with the thread as our 'north star'. Mine's taking a week to be deliverd, but if your trade in was in their hands by the 20th - hopefully it'll indicate the general turnaround time.
Does your Assurant tracking status show as delivered? Mine still says awaiting shipment despite usps saying on its way.

Do you guys even check the email that Spectrum sends?

It's a prepaid label.

Pretty sure some people got their order cancelled outright. The cancel trick doesn't work as much anymore but good luck.

I do read it and know it's a prepaid label. Just didn't know if they cover it if damaged in shipping

That you will have to deal with the shipping company. Just do your due diligence of recording and taking couple pictures of your trade in and the condition before sending out and give extra cushion for your package.

As others have mentioned, don't risk losing your $700 back because the IMEI didn't match.

Last year, with the S23 trade in process, Assurant sent me a free shipping label. There was also a print out that I'm supposed to send in with my old phone. It has all of my trade-in information (name, phone model and the phone IMEI). So, I would not risk losing the $700 because the IMEI on the print out didn't match the phone IMEI.
I've shipped out a different IMEI to Assurant a couple years ago for a tmobile trade in deal. I do not recommend. I had to call T-Mobile and have them track down the IMEI i shipped out and eventually got my credit, but it was a major headache
