So, the s24 ultra will be delivered today between 9am - 1pm. What happens if, for any reason, the phone I sent gets rejected? Should I wait and not open the phone to return it in case that happens?

That's what I'm wondering too. The terms sounds like regardless open or not it would have a restocking fee plus its 14 days from ship date (not order date or delivery date per rep I spoke with)

Seems like many people here did this same promo last year. Hopefully someone will have an answer for us. I sent my phones last Friday and I haven't heard from them so I don't know what the situation is.

I searched the Spectrum Fold5 deal for historical trade in comments so you don't have. Generally within 5 days of receiving it'll be assessed and credit a week later. For our purposes of trade in anxiety at least you'll get the results fast with enough time to return original phone if needed

Honestly, based on the previous spectrum thread, I dont recall anyone getting rejected given how forgiven spectrum are with their trade in term; accepting crack phone etc. So I wouldn't worry much.
I believe at one point I had to contact spectrum to follow up with my trade in, it was noted from the rep I spoke with that spectrum doesn't really have a system to communicate with assurant, unlike Samsung, their support seem to able to just waived the error when there is a problem with trade in (not saying samsung have a way to communicate with their trade in provider but certainly feels that way). Anyway, just make sure you package and take video/pictures.

When these start getting delivered in a few hours can you guys try a SIM from a different provider to check the SIM lock status on this first batch of phones? I will be checking mine today but I'm on the west coast so I'm 3 hours behind you east coast members.

I sent them and didn't record any video but you gave me hopes that everything will be fine. Thank you for the response 🙏🏼

Anyone notice the colors on the phone are very dull compared to the S22 or S23?

Many users are reporting this. The theory seems to be that the new anti glare glass is more dull at lower light level, but overall more color accurate.

Why is this deal getting thumbs up and the samsung deal from their website downvoted? This appears more expensive when I see price in cart for S24+ ?
In my case I haven't seen a deal from Samsung that matches my particular need. I've got a damaged S20. Samsung's offering me ~$100 for it. Spectrum is offering $700. If Samsung's offering high trade in amounts for damaged and old phones, please share a link. Thanks.

That only applies to ultra. S24 and s24+ don't have anti glare glass.

Ah, fair point, and I'm noticing that the OP didn't specify which model they were referring to so I went on Ultra autopilot.

The camera on s24 seems to be bad.
In a dilemma, I should buy s24ultra or not .

Will the software update fix the camera or it's something to do with hardware?

How is it bad?

Everything I've seen, S24 Ultra camera is better than S23 Ultra camera anything under 10x zoom.

And this is pre release software, can't imagine it isn't better by next week.
