I bought the same unit yesterday at the official Denon website. Coupon code 7F77XSQ7NS (30% sitewide promo code at Denon.com) reduced the price to $419.30 before tax, shipping is free. And Denon has a 60-day free return policy as well. The Denon AVR-X3800H is also a great deal at $1,189.30 before tax (regular price $1,699). I do not know how long the code is valid. My purchase was confirmed as shipped today.

I wouldn't advise spending $500+ on an AVR without advanced room EQ like Dirac or Audyssey XT32. It's a night and day improvement. Well worth the money. Even if it meant buying refurbished.

Still valid today makes a way better deal at $419

No, sorry. I happened to need a new unit and found a deal on SD and then also checked the Denon site and a coupon code from somewhere (Honey, I believe) popped up and that was that. I thought it was an error at first. I ended up buying the 1800 and the 3800 both at the reduced rates to compare and ended up returning one unit to Denon without any issue.
