This game is an experience more than a game. The actual gameplay is ok, but the story telling and experiencing the world through the eyes of Senua and her struggles with the voices in her head is an emotional (and heart breaking) experience. I highly recommend the game for this price. But please go in knowing that this is not a Devil May Cry/God of War hack/slash (which are great games by themselves). This is a slow, deliberate and emotional journey.

Nah, you're all good there. This is the type of game that after you finish it, you'll walk away saying "Holy cow, what an experience."

Well would you look at that - it goes on sale for Xbox, I make a comment saying how I want to play it again so I add it to my wish list on Steam, and it goes on sale the next day.

Tried playing this on xbsx. Got stuck right away lol. Can't figure out how to line up the symbols hanging in the air to move on. I want to like it but I guess I'm not the patient type. For some reason I'll persevere thru tomb raider puzzles and finish those but this one has me stumped.

If you think you will like it from looking at the trailer you will like it. A couple puzzles are a little tedious, the combat isn't super deep but is relatively slick, very appropriate to the game in my opinion.

The kicker is that the atmosphere and mind f***ery are as good as any game I've ever played. It's my favorite game in recent memory for that reason.

I bought and played through this a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. At this price, you're paying fifty cents an hour for entertainment. Solid deal.
