Guys think like an Einstein: Take your girl out for a free night. She will love it. Plus, you get free popcorn and soda. The amount of hate here on literally a free date night is insane.

Is it just me or have people stopped caring about movies!? all anime and Korean dramas these days plus tiktoks
That's because every new movie is just a cheap remake of an old movie, with some social justice that nobody asked for. Like "let's remake Rambo… but she's a woman… a gay woman of color"

Yea, that's why it's free. They're trying to make it less bad with an actual audience otherwise missing.

Please do not give them any freaking ideas. OMG.

Did you see the new Roadhouse trailer? Jesus Christ. Not talking about the leads, but the owner of the Roadhouse. It's unbelievable.

The worst thing is...if they wanted to go in that direction, it actually would have been cool and made more sense to use minorities and go all in. It would have worked.

FYI: This is a showing for Amazon Prime Netflix series. There is no Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie remake. Peace

It's actually totally different, the other movie is about two assassins who were coincidentally married discovering each other's secret identities by accident and working it out, this one seems to be about two spies entering into an arranged marriage and doing missions a la The Americans. Completely different premise, not sure why they even used this name.
Sounds like True Lies.

The wife and I are going at 7pm tonight, passes say arrive by 6:15pm for check in.
I'll report back on how it goes. Free date night and popcorn, we'll stop at a restaurant afterward for some carryout dinner and call it a night!

The original movie came out in 1941. To think there would be a minority lead couple at the time is naive. So you're arguing that simply because of past racism a random movie can't be updated to modern sensibilities. Pretty ignorant.
You don't see that rehashing movies, instead of fresh new material for minority leads, is saying it's not worth the effort? Pretty ignorant.

It's actually degrading. I am a minority.

Took my son, we both enjoyed it. Borderline acceptable content for a young teenager, but we didn't need to walk out and we both enjoyed the popcorn and soda.

For those unsure, it was 100% intended to be a reboot, and they were very clear about that during the pre-show countdown.

Had a great time, check in was easy and everyone was polite. Got the free popcorn and drinks no problem. We enjoyed the screening, it was two 1 hr long episodes. You can choose your own seats, so arrive early as possible. Will def do it again!
