Why does the price on this keep dropping? Is it just because no one wants to pay this much for upfiring atmos? I feel like this is still a good price now even if you don't use the atmos...
Receiver says 110 Watts, but I noticed the RP-8060FA II says 150W / 600W (Cont/Peak). Just want to confirm if this receiver would be a good fit, or if I should look for something else.

Thanks in advanced.
I personally prefer Marantz for Klipsh, but anyway Klipsh is very power efficient, so I believe 110W can drive it easily, but better double check

I think most people are not buying this kind of system anymore. Soundbar sounds familiar?

I use a Yamaha rx-a1080 which has plenty of juice for my Klipsch RP 8000fs so I you would be fine

Klipsch speakers have a high db rating usually around the 90s. They don't need alot of power to get them going. Highly efficient. That being said I have an all klipsch setup and I use an Onkyo RZ50 with 3 Onkyo power amps. I don't need that but I tend to do the overkill. A AVR with 80 watts a channel would be more than enough for these.Your Yamaha is more than adequate. That 110 watts is with 1channel driven. Wattage will drop as more channels are added. You should be fine though. These don't need a ton of power to sound good.
I am driving a pair of 8060s ii with a Denon 3700 (105w) and no issues at all. Thought $600 a piece was a good deal, this is just a steal if I needed the 3 more speakers. One of the 8060s came in with a damaged corner and a sideways attached speaker stand. Got a quick response and UPS picked up the next day, no proof of damage necessary and I had a refund the day after they got returned to TN. Pretty amazing experience as I was picturing the worst of the worst outcomes at half the retail price.
