Worth noting that you are not buying this from Amazon. It's shipping from a third party seller.

I have the Zigbee module in mine connected to Hubitat and I can give these Yale Assure locks two thumbs up. Have a lever version on the front door and deadbolt on the back. Not once has there ever been any sort of hiccup. 100% uptime (except changing batteries) and zero errors in two years. I just wish all smart home products worked this week. If they did we all would be automating our houses.

Huh? There are many hubs that this can work with. Plus I don't know how anybody could trust Eufy ever again after the bs they pulled.

Good deal. I bought this used from Amazon for $109 three years ago. I've had no issues with it connected to my Ring app and I've only replaced the batteries 2-3 times.

Picked up 3 of these 2 years ago when Lowe's had them for $50. Requires the August app and you have to buy a hub separately to make it "smart" (ie Alexa integration), which I didn't realize until after I got home and set them up. Kind of annoying since the hubs ended up costing more than the locks.

They were fine locks, but I just replaced them last month with Eufy fingerprint locks that don't require additional costly hardware to integrate with my smart home system. I also grew tired of the touchscreen. It is way more cumbersome than actual buttons or fingerprint scan.

At this price, I wouldn't recommend. I can't even offload these on Facebook marketplace.

How often do you change batteries. My digital but not smart locks go for a year plus. Wonder if these will die much faster.
Not a year but I am using rechargable batteries. Half the time they start at less then 100 percent due to the batteries aging. I'd say with quality batteries a year is no problem. Granted some protocols such as zigbee and zwave use far less power than a WiFi version.

Vulnerabilities?

I saw catwoman throwing makeup on it to reveal codes. I think Jason Bourne used IR to see finger oils and guess numbers.

you bought something without reading the package. I have this lock with Z wave integration. Exactly what I wanted from a lock. No alexa etc out of the box is a feature not bug for folks who know more than the average person with it comes to home automation.

What if the batteries die? Are you locked out for good?
There's a port on the outside that takes a 9v battery to use in such situations.

Have the older version of this lock for 7 years now and no issues. It works with Vivint alarm company which uses z wave technology for their products

Impressed by the mental gymnastics required to convince yourself that having to purchase a second piece of hardware to take advantage of built-in smart-compatible capabilities is a feature. LMAO

Dunning–Kruger. If there was no second piece of hardware required it wouldn't been a Wi-Fi lock which I don't like. You're the fool who bought not one but three of something you don't know much about and you're laughing at me.

You might enjoy changing the batteries often or slower connection to your hardware. I'll "settle" for Z wave and "suffer" from great connectivity and battery life.

Yes. There's a killswitch inside (black button in the picture), so all of your household that you embarassed can disown you and lock you out.

This is a fine lock, but if you're spending in this range for a smart lock I would seriously consider fingerprint.

I had a prior version of this at previous house and a U-bolt fingerprint and I much prefer the fingerprint lock.
