Thank you for the information. Any reason you did not ask Schwinn for a replacement set of pedals? I thought there was a reasonable warranty length. I hardly ride mine, but just recently, in the last month, got a cushioned seat cover to see if it helps. I wish the handle bar stem was just a little taller so I was not so bent over as I have back problems. My son road it and it has also now picked up a noise. I even used locktite to make sure the pedals did not come loose. So I need to investigate why the new noise. What did your bad bearing sound like or how did you know?
The bike itself is rock solid.
