It really depends on preference, but some things off the top of my head I would suggest trying to check out some point (especially if you see sales):

MYOJO
【10 pack】Ace Ramen- Salty Stir-Fried Noodles with Garlic Mayonnaise 5 Packs & Stir-Fried Noodles with Spicy Mu
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/10-pack-myojo-yomise-no-yakisoba-oriental-flavor-with-mayonnaise-130g-5... [yamibuy.com]

BAIJIA
Instant Vermicelli ,Malatang, Spicy Flavor 5pcs 525g
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/baij...er_deliver
I go through a ton of these... I like to add my own pulled pork, brisket etc that I smoke and freeze to add to stuff like this.

【Value Pack】JXC Fried Liuzhou Luosi Rice Noodle*3
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/valu...1021097761
Luosifen may not be for everyone but it's made from a broth from river snails and is a specialty from Liuzhou, Guangxi. This is the fried version, but I could recommend some actual soup versions as well... in fact, I just fixed some. I'll link that next.

LUOBAWANG
Instant Liuzhou Luo Se Fen Snail Rice Noodles, Spicy, 7.41oz
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/inst...er_deliver

SAMYANG
Korean Carbonara Stir-Fried Buldak Ramen Hot Chicken Flavor - 5 Packs* 4.58oz
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/samy...37711&pg=1
You may be familiar with Samyang brand. It's my favorite Korean spicy ramen brand and has become more popular in the US lately. The carbonara is my favorite flavor and even though it's still pretty spicy, it's not too extreme (in my opinion) to universally recommend to people, unless I know they can't handle spice. If you really like spicy, the normal spicy buldak or 2x spicy flavors are worth checking out.

Those are some of my favorite instant noodles that you can easily pick up on Yami. I also have ordered tons of snacks, beverages, sauces, etc. I currently have a Yami order on the way right now. It's a great resource if you don't have an Asian market available and I have found a lot of things on there I was unable to find in Asian markets in my state. I actually created a spreadsheet sometime in 2023 to track my ratings on products since I ordered so many Asian foods that often don't even have any English, so it can be difficult to remember everything. I already have hundreds of things listed Big Grin

Some snacks etc that I might recommend considering:

HAITAI
Smoked Seasoned Shredded Squid 170g
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/hait...er_deliver
This is basically like a squid jerky. It's a great snack, in my opinion. I eat a lot of this.

HSUFUCHI
【Jackson Wang Favorite】Egg Sachima - Soft Fried Wheat Cake, 18.55oz
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/hsuf...1016005261
These make me think of our traditional Rice Krispies treats, but not so sugary. The egg sachima is a nice, light snack in my opinion. I have tried various brands and they have so far seemed pretty similar to me, some have additional flavors.

Lay's
Grilled Squid Potato Chips, 2.46oz
https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/lay-...1017022681
They have a lot of Lay's flavors that you can't get from the regular stores in the US. The grilled squid is my favorite flavor of Lay's chips I have had.

I could go on and on but hopefully these are enough for new things to consider trying!

Not the best deal, but if you have never tried Tteokbokki in your life, it would be well worth it to order these! Something completely different than any American food, and super yummy!

This is cheaper per package on Yami if you order enough ($50) products to get free shipping. I know that may not help everyone but something to consider. I use Yami for a lot of my online Asian grocery orders.

Thanks for the tip, looks like lots of good stuff. Added these (and some cups with ramen & tteokbokki together) and some Japanese snacks, any other recommendations?

(Also promo code "WELCOME" for 10% off for other first-timers like myself)

Overpriced. You can get them in greater quantities for cheaper at an Asian market
