Need some input from experienced folks - how are these Enterprise drives? I have had good luck with both seagate and WD, but planning to build a 6 disk raid 10 and want to use the large drives… so these Exos or WD Red - which one should I go with?
My concern with seagate is that I see so many seagate refurb while very few WD refurb…

I'm no HDD expert, but I do buy lots and lots of hard drives, and quiet a few of these Exos (20TB version), I've never had an issue with them, although I've never had issues with any drives either. I don't see how people have so many issues, imo I think a lot of stuff is exaggerated, but that's just me.
Again, in my experience, countless Exos, no problems in any way whatsoever. I think in the last 20 years I've had 1 drive that went bad (Western Digital)
Promo code 'AS23DNA658' not working for me at checkout of 1 item. Site says: "HMM... we can't seem to find promo code AS23DNA658 on our end. Check again?".
I have an 8 drive array of EXOS 18TB drives and I like them a lot. I tried Seagate Ironwolfs, they were very, very loud. I love the exos. I usually buy from "server parts direct" (i think), and I've gotten the refurbs and the new drives. All have performed well.
