The replacement h9g just stopped working today. Power led keeps blinking and restarting. So now I need to replace it since it's a TV that's used a lot.
I also have Hisense l5f120 I think, that I've had since it came out. No issues with it, but it rarely gets used.
I also have a Hisense a45kv in the laundry room. No issues with that, but doesn't get used often.
I have a hisense h6510g that I got maybe in 2020 black Friday I think. Used a lot, still running.
So that's my personal experience with Hisense. I don't expect them to be lifetime tvs. I do have a 32 inch Toshiba LCD from 2007 that's still chugging along in a guest room, so not used a lot. I also have a Vizio 60 inch m series from 2015 that still working, albeit with lowered brightness.

Worse than RCA? I DOUBT IT! Mine lasted about 100 days, just over the 90 day warranty at the time. The tracing on the mainboard was weak. There was a class action and RCA agreed to offer... $50 savings certificates on your next RCA TV. Hard pass.
I bought an LG C1, one of the best TV you can buy at the time, and it still has issues you mentioned from your Hisense. It's not a "brand" issue. We also purchased the best Samsung money could buy, think $100k Samsung, and it was even worse. We asked if we could get a dumb TV and they said no
I bought an AppleTV and it's much better than any Roku or FireTV streaming device. The streaming quality and UI is simply better. (I hate Apple with bias btw and am not a fanboi)
I retract my previous statement. I've experienced multiple lockups on my Hisense tv over the last few weeks. Even after a factory reset and Ethernet plugged into the tv, it's still slow and locks up. At minimum a manufacturer should provide a stable processor that doesn't lock up when changing inputs.
