The idea is that you copy your own games with their unique identifiers….but obviously YMMV. I would play strictly in offline mode when using this card to be safe.
EDIT: for those who think offline mode will be a way around Nintendo knowing anything, based on what I've read, the next time you go online the Switch will report everything it's done once it syncs with Nintendo servers. So offline mode might only be an option if you only ever leave the Switch offline permanently. Or if you have a jailbroken (or already banned Switch) then you might have options to get around Nintendo's security. I'm in NO WAY advocating doing this, but a quick check of Google/YouTube will show how some early testers of the device have reported on this matter.

None of it is really safe, I'd only hack it if you're ok being banned. I did mine and I'm ok with that risk
