FYI- Walmart, who charges 1.48 for 18 oz BBQ for their house brand (Great Value.. was 99 cents not that many moons ago, sigh) seems to be matching the 1.49 price found at Amazon right now, for (only the) original and brown sugar versions.

Love the competition!

I used to buy this stuff then switched to Sweet Baby Ray's a long time back. Then realized it is mostly high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) as well. I don't really eat bbq that much except during summer so I switched to buying bottles from City BBQ (no HFCS). Yes, it is more expensive but the quality is also much better.

People here are weird. They will go into topics on junk food saying how bad the food is. Yet when it comes to HFCS, which isn't a food, people are like 'whatever'.

If the first ingredient in BBQ isn't tomatoes or vinegar then it's not BBQ sauce.

Reps! Hadn't seen it but will get some. (Technically it is no sugar added- but only has 1 gram of sugars so yes better for you and less calories than regular. Only 15, vs 70 cal per 2 Tbsp serving. $1 higher than regular version at my Kroger. Also has no HFCS. hug

Unfortunately it has toxic sweeteners added too

It's super good and worth getting. The only one that tastes like the real deal, where they really nailed the texture.

Well dang. Thank you, Debbie D. laugh out loud So which is the better option for health? that or HFCS?

Do you have a low-calorie, really tasty, safe, and healthy BBQ sauce? I am open to try it. I love Baby Ray's Original, to give you the flavor profile I prefer. Sweet. Bullseye has a similar yummy sweet profile.

Guess I can still save calories at least over the HFCS option, or any with natural sugar added which will be high in calories (and carbs).

I will enjoy BBQ sauce flavor as my priority and cost is the other leading factor in purchasing decision, but safer would be nice.. Peace

$1.25 at dollar tree when they have it in stock. My local store often stocks brown sugar, hickory, and original

Because it's cheap to make and society is addicted to it?

Nice, thanks for posting this. The "Tree" along with Walmart is pretty much how I shop.
$35 min order for Walmart pickup, park and they take it right to your car. $1.48 their 18oz BBQ sauce.
