OnePlus themselves has told people recycle it or keep it if your sentimental they could care less there's no trade in evaluation whatsoever. They even call it a $100 recycling reward.

After using OP's fast charge for over 3 years on my 8T, I can't imagine caring any less about a feature on a phone than wireless charging.

Pixel 8 has better camera, wireless charging and lighter compare to 12R. It also holds better trade-in value and software support in the future. For me, I will choose Pixel 8. Performance should not be much different on daily activities.

easy skip for me
$370 you can buy a pixel with a better camera, more updates and a warranty from Google.

I had 2 OnePlus products in my lifetime and I was told they do not provide warranties with their products on both items. Due to that alone I would never buy a OnePlus in my life period.

Dual sim is invaluable. I always have buyers asking me for dual sim phones. Meanwhile I can't even get them to look at a Google phone

Well looks like OnePlus just put Motorola on their death bed. The reason this has to be said is because of eSim support on a less than $400 device when Moto does not have anything to match.

I feel like Moto is about to become the next HTC since they are being very stringent on eSim/other features which puts them farther back in the competition.

They do have warranty's but One Plus Customer service is pretty bad according to all the people RMA'ing their Open's for defective screens.

Very bad as well. Watch reviews. They are not even on the top 5 of cameras. And to think it's a flagship phone.

That's because this isn't a flagship phone.

tempting, but it's hard to go without wireless charging once you've been used to having it for so long.

Yes, this pretty much beats any Pixel since versions 5-8 pro are having January 2024 update problems. I don't care about warranties; I want phones to just work. You'd think Google would do something right for once after the 4XL, their last good phone. For those wondering, I'm still using the plastic OnePlus Nord n200 5G without any problems other than the subpar fingerprint scanner on the power button. I'm going to hold off until the OnePlus 13 since I'm still getting updates and I'm not going to pay the Samsung or Apple tax.

Yea those camera trade offs are big. They hide the MP count until you go into specs instead of putting it on the big picture. 8 MP wide field and 2MP macro... those are pretty bad. Only the main 50 MP is decent
