OnePlus themselves has told people recycle it or keep it if your sentimental they could care less there's no trade in evaluation whatsoever. They even call it a $100 recycling reward.

After using OP's fast charge for over 3 years on my 8T, I can't imagine caring any less about a feature on a phone than wireless charging.

Pixel 8 has better camera, wireless charging and lighter compare to 12R. It also holds better trade-in value and software support in the future. For me, I will choose Pixel 8. Performance should not be much different on daily activities.

No expandable storage. I'm 90% sure no OnePlus has ever had a sd slot.
The N30 definitely does. No idea about other models though.

I seriously thought I'd miss the wireless charging when I switched from a Samsung to the OP 12, but I really haven't. I charge for 30 minutes a night while I watch Jeopardy or something, and the phone's good for 24+ hours. Every flagship should probably have it, but I don't miss it.

This right here. I was all about wireless charging. My phone broke, friend lent me OP11 while I waited for pixel 8pro to release...i did buy the pixel (because impulse) but I sent it back and paid my friend for the OP11. I do not miss wireless at all and 30w charging is a joke. Charging speed is my new deal breaker. However, I will be trading my 11 for the 12 jus to have the complete package.

Exactly, charging the pixel 8 pro next to my OnePlus 11 was ridiculous. Google should be ashamed of those charging speeds. Haven't had a Samsung in forever but I'm guessing they are pretty slow as well.

That's because this isn't a flagship phone.
It's not? The 799 is a flagship or not?. It's also the one that's being reviewed everywhere and the camera is horrendous.

You must be looking for the OnePlus 12 deal. This is for the $499 "mid" range OnePlus 12R

Does anyone know how the instant trade in works? I want to trade in my Pixel 7 Pro for this, but it's my daily driver and I see you have 21 days from date of purchase which doesn't match well with estimated ship times, etc. for the pre-order.

I'm not sending in a phone and I haven't ordered yet. I have been watching the estimated delivery dates and they aren't moving at all. If I was doing a trade in I would wait to order just in case.

The dates have definitely moved. Went from Feb 8 to 13th for free delivery on the black model. I'm in no rush outside of maximizing trade in value
