I can say my 3a (still use as my car GPS and streaming music), 4a and 5a were excellent phones. The bugs started cropping up once this abomination called Tensor was used.
They also don't give any perks to stay with Pixel. They used to have unlimited storage for Google Photos or Drive. Nope. Add to that ALL settings flow over to next phone EXCEPT the storage saver option and not changing it until you're almost full and not allowed to retro the full rez pics.
So if you like dealing with unresolved bugs and don't mind waiting for screen rotation or app switching, yes, Pixel is the way to go.
