OnePlus themselves has told people recycle it or keep it if your sentimental they could care less there's no trade in evaluation whatsoever. They even call it a $100 recycling reward.

After using OP's fast charge for over 3 years on my 8T, I can't imagine caring any less about a feature on a phone than wireless charging.

Pixel 8 has better camera, wireless charging and lighter compare to 12R. It also holds better trade-in value and software support in the future. For me, I will choose Pixel 8. Performance should not be much different on daily activities.

I'm using this phone as a spare so I am in no rush to get a case & ordered clear case for < $3.50 probably get in couple weeks. They have several more different cases as opposed to the select few from Amazon.

Tudia was my case for the 3, 5t. I have a peotic case with plastic front cover which I was surprised with the fingerprint reader performance with my current 8t.

The 8T is not able to update
and I been looking at upgrading for awhile

using email doesn't work anymore. Signed up for like three accounts and got no code. Had to sign up for text. And you have to be careful when you get a code cause. I had one in my account and then the next day it says it was claimed when I never even used it.

Now that the phones are being delivered, please post what screen protector you are using and how you like it. From my experience the edge glued stick on curved tempered glass are terrible. I've used hydrogel tpu on curved screens in the past and they have worked well.

Just got the 12R and it's night and day difference between my oneplus N20 piece of crap that i had for 2 yr. Yes it was a free phone from tmobile and served me for 2 yr but it was sluggish and not very responsive. The main reason i bought the 12R was android auto because it was so slow on my N20. 12R runs super smooth and I am so satisfied.

From what I skimmed earlier, internal storage being UFS 3.1 instead of 4.0 (faster, more power efficient). 128 version was advertised as 3.1, but 256+ was listed as 4.0.

I got the 128 so unaffected. I doubt I'd bother returning over it though, lot of trouble for something that wouldn't have much real world impact for my use case. Others of course may have specifically wanted it.

So does that mean, check any boxes that say you will "recycle" but they won't care if you don't send the box back?
