Verizon for Warp 5G, T-Mobile for GSM, AT&T is coming later this year. You choose which carrier you want.

Can it be used for wifi calling and receiving text (OTP) when traveling outside US?
Quote from maynard7 :
no, you would have to get a service like Google Voice or TextNow to do that
Yes, you can receive/send calls international and receive texts over Wifi too while abroad. I used my phone on a work trip to Australia a few weeks back and everything worked fine.

Damn, the Unlimited Starter sounds like the plan for me. Currently on Verizon paying $55/month for the unlimited plan.

Finally! Some actual competition for Red Pocket. Hopefully US Mobile rolls out the AT&T towers option soon.

Questions to the experts: Mine is a iPho 12 Pro Max direct from Apple(Unlocked). Currently on Mint for few years.
1: Which sim to choose? eSim or Physical?
2. How to find if my phone supports wrap 5G? If supports, is it preferred?

US Mobile is great.

You can actually go to the US Mobile subreddit on reddit and ask questions and support people will start up chats with you to fix your issue.

Their unlimited starter, if you get annual plan, $23 a month blows Visible $25 plan out of the water. Visible is deprioritized as hell. Comparable plan is Visible $35 plan but you save $12 a month

eSIM if you want instant activation that takes minutes and if you go with Verizon, Warp 5G is supported by your phone

You can use any plan with wifi calling to receive talk and texts internationally. Just turn on wifi calling while in the US. It also sounds like you should not turn off wifi calling when abroad, otherwise you might need to return to the US to enable it again.

This guys documents his experiance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S...aP8M&t=37s
He uses a cheap US plan from US mobile for about 5 dollars a month while abroad just for two factor authentication.
He then uses a travel sim when he is abroad to get data services in that specific country. Obviously you need a newer model phone with multi-sim capabilities and maybe esim capabilities for all of this to function.
In addition to this, if you are using a GSM sim, I believe you get a certain amount of calling/texts and data automatically - depending on which country you go to.

The reason they have not enabled this for WARP (the Verizon sim) is because they do not yet have the ability to real-time monitor the usage like they can with the T-mobile sim.

Yep. The best utilization of the deal is getting the 30 day trial, automatically selecting the plan you want for the end of your trial, and doing annual. Essentially, you get 13 months of service for 12 and a free gift card at the tail end of it all.

I set up my friend with this during Black Friday too and they got 14 months of 30GB a month data/hotspot/international capabilities for $250. LMAO

1. Either is fine. If you have multiple phones choose physical, transferring /switching is easier.
2. Wrap 5G, LOL, no such thing. It's a marketing BS.
