When a 5G handset is used, USMobile data is prioritized on the Verizon network -- otherwise data is de-prioritized and akin to Infimobile.
USMobile allows you to use your data as hotspot. Infimobile you have to pay an additional fee to use your data as hotspot

He uses a cheap US plan from US mobile for about 5 dollars a month while abroad just for two factor authentication.
He then uses a travel sim when he is abroad to get data services in that specific country. Obviously you need a newer model phone with multi-sim capabilities and maybe esim capabilities for all of this to function.
The reason they have not enabled this for WARP (the Verizon sim) is because they do not yet have the ability to real-time monitor the usage like they can with the T-mobile sim.
