I picked one up in Seattle. Item was marked as $349.99. I asked someone to scan it. It was priced at $199.99.

In my case, brickseek was accurate. BS said 7 in stock, and "clearance" but not the price. The HD app showed 0 in stock, and only ship to store for full price ($499). I called the store and they confirmed 7 in stock and clearance price of $199. When I got to the store they found 6 on the upper shelves and $199 price.

Other nearby stores BS had the quantity, and normal price ($499).

BS shows all 499 still in my area with stock at every store. Is this a lost cause? Or should I still go in and ask the employees to scan at the checkout?

Brickseek showed NW Raleigh store had them under clearance. I went to the store and they had a couple dozen in the lawn and garden section but you had to get an employee to get them down because they were not on display.

I've been scouring the Kansas City area looking for one, finally found one at the Bannister location, they had 2 left when I left this morning. BS shows 18 at Leavenworth HD as well.

Umm, I dunno. Depends on your area I suppose. Ive already sold the 2 blowers and one charger. Now just need to move the trimmers and Ill have a couple free batteries! But even now, the batteries only cost me <$100 each and I have a couple spare trimmers! I paid $120 for a 9Ah battery last year, so I'm already ahead imo...

Well after calling all the Home Depot's in my area and I thought that the deal was possible.
I drove 40 miles to the one HD that I thought would honor this unbelievable deal...they said it was unbelievable and there is no way they cut $300. off the price. So I left empty handed. I stopped at another HD on my way home and it was a no go there also.
In the future if someone says it is available at HD don't believe it. It was a total bust.
