I use the line trimmer with 4ah batteries, it goes about 30-40 minutes of normal trimming, enough to handle our 1acre lot. If you have it on high and are hitting thick weeds you could probably kill it in 15 minutes

Brickseek showed one store nearby with "Limited stock"
I found one up top, second overhead shelf. It was yellow-stickered for $229 but rang up $99
Now brickseek shows none nearby.

Thanks OP! Been looking for these separately but the combo was definitely better. If anyone still looking for one in Los Angeles, there's 7 more in the Huntington Park location on a pallet on aisle 3 lol

Edit: Confirmed both of my older 4ah batteries fit fine.

Found 2 in Merrifield store #4605, VA Homedepot. I picked up 1. The 2nd is in Aisle 49, Bay 9. It is high up on the shelf and barely visible. Good luck.

That's crazy , I have 38133 as my home zip and it has never showed any of the ridgid outdoor tools in stock anywhere in our region. I've checked every store between here and Nashville recently.

I stopped by two HD stores on my way home. Both showed stock (one low, the other 3 OH). Could not find them in the steel. Neither store had any of the Ridgid lawn tools on display.

Finally, brickseek was correct. They showed four in stock but only two up front by customer service showing sale price. The other two were probably on hold for an employee. Only bought one, make sure you check the box wasn't opened. Battery is on the bottom of the box. Make sure you register online for free lifetime replacement. Thanks op.

Hah! SlickDeals + Brickseek worked this time. "limited stock" on Brickseek = 1 left at Troy, MI store. Easy to find - was dusty and stored over the other brand weedwhackers.

The HD guy said $99, wow, when he scanned it! And that it was a leftover BF deal at $249, now finally clearing out.

The battery alone is probably $40-50, on sale.

This is a smokin deal. These little blowers are so nice for blowing the grass clippings off my lawn mower, or clearing the sidewalk after a mow. Just picked up the string trimmer too for Xmas- although I haven't used it yet I'm stoked to use it this summer. Love my Ridgid tools/ecosystem, jump on this one. Just make sure you register the lifetime warranty!

Call around to all stores before you go in person. I called all the Central FL stores, none had this set handy. One actually told me employees had bought up what was available at the time because of the slick deal. I have a friend in Miami, so called a few stores down there, coincidentally found a store with three in stock. Bought all three over the phone since my son and I can both tackle the yard at the same time and it's easier for him to carry around, instead of a gas operated Trimer. The third one was for my friend for doing me the solid of picking it up for me. Thanks!
