Some of those reviews though. I guess Bella doesn't support their products and some people didn't get 9 months out of this thing before the door switch died. And the company doesn't care they're offering a 2 year warranty.

"Worked well for 4 months and then the basket stopped seating inside the machine which triggers the shut off and makes it impossible to use. Company refuses to honor their "2 year" warranty so I'm looking for a new air fryer. Very disappointed with the customer support from Bella."

"Cheaply made if it only last 9 months of normal use. Door swicth broke off and now womt turn on"

"It's been 8 months and screen is not working. Can't see numbers"

"Shut of during warm up yesterday. Unplugged it and let of sit for a while, plugged it back, and the light for the "start" button is out, so you can't see where it is now. The rest of the display is kinda flickering, so it probably won't be long before it goes too. Thought we would at least get a few years out of it like our previous(not a Bella Pro) air fryer. Paid $80 in July, lasted only 5 months. Don't recommend."

Based on review above, I bought the 3-year state farm insurance on ebay for $3.

Seems worth a shot for $33.

On Best Buy website they were charging $10 for 2yr insurance and $10 for shipping (it was same day though).

You convinced me, went in for the $33. I figure if it dies in a year or three and I still get my $30 back then it is still a great deal. Always wanted to try one of these, people seem to swear by them.

I have this unit. Been using it for 2 years at least 3X a week with no issues. I love it.

In a previous post I recommended for people not to buy this. However, at this price, if you think of it as disposable within 1 year - it's not bad.

I'm on my second unit of this model.

First one died. Bella sent a refund check. Second one still cooks, but the power/start button no longer illuminates which makes it difficult being part of the touch screen. Still using it though.

Both units have developed issues in less than a year.

If they were made better and didn't break, I would recommend this item to everyone.

EDIT: I want to add more context to this post. I hate that this unit is essentially disposable. I love the results of using it when it works. I have a toaster oven that is 20+ years old. Still works. It gets used a few times per year. Microwave, 20+ years old, still works, used a few times per week. Stove/Oven, 20+ years old, have replaced parts on it, still works, used about once per day. This air fryer, 2 have broken, each within less than a year, used MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY. That's how much an air fryer has been incorporated into my life. The ease of use, speed, and results are hard to overlook. If you want to test out what an fryer is like for cheap - this is your chance. If you want something dependable - this unit isn't it.

That seems so sad... disposable appliances at a time that e-waste is completely out of control. Thanks for mentioning your experience, I almost ordered one.

Highly recommend saving a couple more dollars to get a Gourmia if you can. We paid $40 for a 10 quart 4 years ago (comes around often at this price) and have zero issues, despite daily use.

I've heard good things from family members about Gourmia too.

That was pre-Covid. Expect to pay twice as much now.

This isn't a bad deal at all.

I posted a deal for the non divided basket/stainless steel version of this product when it was $35 a couple days ago and it's currently at $140 at best buy and it got like four upvotes..

had one of these. teflon coating only lasted a few months. with the exception of the short cord, it was okay otherwise
What type of spray were you using on it? If you were using something like Pam it will happen for sure. You need to be using avocado or olive oil spray on air fryers.

A simple search on this site shows that the 7 quart has been $35 multiple times after Covid. Not unreasonable to see the larger ones for a few dollars more. No idea where you're checking.
