ICYMI: most popular cold medicine like theraflu and NyQuil uses phenylephrine as a nasal decongestant and has been proven to not work. The other ingredients may work for your other symptoms though…

Personally loathe drinking these, and rather get the individual components for cheaper and drink a tea I actually like with some honey/real sugar. If you have never had these, they are super bitter. Guaifenesin/Mucinex or ceterizine/Zyrtec do great too for a lot of cold/flu symptoms.

I'm not a doctor, so consult yours.
