Bad reviews; brightest performance tilts green.

I've been looking at this for a while. It is the cheapest 4k that has vertical and horizontal lens shift, which we need because it has to go in an off-center ceiling-ish location (not many options with our room layout). It's still $1300 more expensive than living with our "it might be flaking out" Epson 8350 for another year...I can't decide if it will be worthwhile or if something better will be available (sometime soon) if I hold out.
Also, it seems like people get really worried about minor color issues, but I'm running this in a dark room that will allow for lots of breathing room, light-adjustment-wise.

I bought this in August 2023, and have been very pleased with it. Replaced an older Amazon 1080P in our home theater, and the quality/performance is excellent for the price. AVS Forums has some very in-depth reviews/analysis.

I'll check out avsforums more. Thanks for the reply. I wish it had a better warranty -- we sure won't use it enough to give it a proper test within a year.

What is a good trouble-free all laser unit for $1,600? I wish the projector world were easier to understand! Bonus if it has lens shift, which I need. I want something that will still be a good usable unit for the next 5 or 10 years, not a fly by night brand/build. Thanks!
