This sale is back again and im sure Apple is clearing out all their inventory for leather accessories for carbon neutrality goals. This is brand new sealed. Get it while it lasts guys!

The available colors are black and midnight blue. I have a Macbook Air 15" and according to other reviews/users it fits snugly to this one as well even though its meant for the 15" MBP.

QA Note: The MacBook Pro option is OOS but see the front page post for other options for the 13" MacBook

On paper, they're pretty close—the current 16" is 14.01" x 9.77" x 0.66"; the 2019 15" was 13.75" x 9.48" x 0.61"—but the current MacBook Pro design is a lot blockier and less tapered than the previous one. If the current 15" MacBook Air fits snugly, as OP relays, I doubt the sleeve would stretch to accommodate the much thicker Pro.

Any chance this also fits the current 16" MBPs?

These are very thin and don't replace a real case for travel.

Anyone know if this would be too big for the 13.6" MacBook Air m2?

The 15" fits the 15" air quite well.

This Apple sleeve doesn't really offer much protection, it is basically a leather covering to protect against scratches. Drop your Mac and it will get damaged, guaranteed.

I have a 13" protective sleeve that I bought on a sale from Mous and it is the real deal. Protective shock foam surrounds all the edges of the Macbook and the case is overall a bit rigid. It's water and dust resistant, closing with a zipper. Very will built, although obviously the protection is a little weightier than a simple sleeve, but not that much, probably adds a pound. I believe that I paid just under $70 after tax, Mous runs sales throughout the year that you can sometimes stack with coupon codes and/or cashback opportunities.

fwiw, I bought the 15" one for my 14" MBP (around a yr ago) and while it's slightly bigger, I think it's perfectly fine to use as protection. The quality and feel is premium.
