First time I've had amazon alert me that an item is a frequently returned item. I think i'll hold off but it is tempting for my camping trips.

It may be returned because people thought they were buying a 4 prong 120/240V 30A and it is a 3 prong 120V 30a.

Has an L5-30p 125 volt 30 amp locking three prong male plug. The only uses for this without having to buy an adapter that costs more than cable are (1) select generators generally under 4500 watt rated (2) install a 30 amp L5-30r receptacle in your shop wired directly to your house panel, or, (3) cut the plug off and wire it directly in to a breaker-protected work box.

The dog bone adapter to connect to a 30 amp travel trailer outlet on a generator costs $20. A heavy duty 20 regular male plug which can accept 10 ga wire and the thick jacket would be required to convert to a standard power cord.
