Most running shoes have decent insoles. I can understand the usage for work shoes that are hard on the foot. But are these even needed in shoes like Hoka, Adidas, Nike, etc?

Hoka no, but Adidas/Nike yes.

I just checked my Hoka and Adidas shoes insoles.
Both are soft and similar in thickness. The outer sole is thicker on Hoka but not as squishy as the UltraBoost sole. But insoles are quite similar.

I'm not getting as low as $6.91 for the Comfort and Energy Stimulating Step Insoles one. I only see a "15% coupon" and subscribe and save is only knocking off like 5% 🤷

Good timing. Going to try the "float on air soles" in a pair of Olukai boat shoes. The shoes are great but the insoles need an upgrade.

I was also only allowed one with the 35% discount which is fine.

This coupon also works on the expensive Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotics Full Length Inserts. I discovered them once when Walmart had those fancy foot maping machines and really loved how they feel. Previously I paid $50 an insert and this makes it a great deal

If it's helpful to anyone else, with long list like this (and the list is appreciated, don't get me wrong), I try to remember to click the link on the coupon details and scroll through the options there as well. I've jumped on these before and shortly after might regret not seeing something else that I might have benefited more with coupon.

There are 2 pair work insoles, I got those too. There was also a 2 pair sports down the list, with smaller heel gel section - that was worded oddly though as 1 pair (packages) with 4 total insoles, about same price ~23 before coupon

I need to replace the insoles on a pair of Cole Haan Zerogrand men's dress shoes.

Any recommendations for which insole to purchase? Thanks!

You might want to try a brand called Superfeet insoles. They're much more expensive but very sturdy and supportive.
