    • Combo kits come with a carrying bag, 2 extra "plus" batteries, and a two-way charging hub.
    • Note: Although this comes with the Plus Intelligence Batteries with extended flight time, these batteries puts the drone over the 249g weight limit

There are mixed reviews from slickdealers who bought Geek Squad Refurbished drones from Best Buy. It has really been hit or miss. Be ready to need to return it if you are unlucky. Common complaints include: drone still being linked to the previous owner, sometimes the drone is badly damaged, etc. While others have said the drone they received is in pristine condition with low flight hours logged. YMMV.

Also, you can still get DJI Care Refresh but you will need to follow the slightly longer process that includes recording a video of the drone for a visual inspection.

read the fine print and read the reviews... After you been penalized 100 dollars on the return and the frustration you would be better off just buying a brand new one.. learn from my mistake my brother.. I can screen shot you receipts and purchase history if you think im a troll.. .

Nobody. I'd bet 99% of law enforcement doesn't realize there is such a law. Think and hope they've got better things to do than worry about someone's flight battery being a couple grams heavier than it should be. If you fly responsibly, you won't have a problem. Have fun.

it's always a hit or miss with refurbished drones even from other sellers. I had to return my refurbished mini 3 pro to best buy and had to spend a couple weeks with adorama support for the used mini 2 se that was still linked to previous owner's account. However in both cases I got great customer support especially from best buy. I just walked into the store and was done with the return within 5 minutes max. I do try to repackage items the same way they came in the box before returning though. sorry to hear you had to pay for something that wasn't even your fault.

Whoa. Is it standard policy for them to charge you a restocking fee? I have returned multiple open box items without issue.

Seems like I need to look into this further. Wonder if it specific to drones.

Edit. Does look like it is specific to certain items. Unfortunately drones is listed as one of them.

Doesnt matter, I got a drone from BBY that I couldnt use and they charged me a restocking fee, I would dispute it on my credit card. No way I would pay $100 for their mistake.

Choose store pickup and check carefully while you're there in front of them, return on the spot if needed. If the remote is paired to the aircraft, chances are you can unbind from previous account which is very likely still logged in, just connect to Wi-Fi or tether to your phone and unbind.

Hmmmm... I didnt think of that.... thanks for the post.. Tomorrow at work I will give the credit card company a call to see if I can place a dispute..

I tried contacting and calling the previous owner.. (I had his email still in the bird) and I called DJI customer service a few times.. For me , it was impossible to unbind the account from the drone.. Have you actually tried what you talking about.. Unless it recently changed , I do not believe your information is correct.
