Eh? It's been at this price for a while now. Staff just keeps reposting/bumping since it was such a popular deal. As long as there's inventory left, I suspect it'll keep getting reposted to maximize SD affiliate commissions. Can't blame them.

It's still a decent price. I was looking at this item years ago and wasn't ready to bite the bullet on that price. I ended up getting a monument stainless steel and that thing is awesome! Link to that: https://a.co/d/gcxKR0S

Bought it at $49 a month or so ago. We've already used it once camping. We enjoyed it. No windscreen, but we've got a separate foldable windscreen that works well enough when needed. It replaced a single burner Coleman we've had for years and it was a nice upgrade, while not really taking up more space. High power is pretty good. Low power is a bit questionable (tends to just turn off), but apparently there are some relatively easy modifications you can make to improve that. I'm not sure I care enough to bother. The propane rather than butane is an upgrade, although it does add additional bulk if you're not already carrying canisters.

Incidentally I'd love to pick up the bag for this, but it seems insane to spend $40 on it. Anybody have a cheaper alternative?

Check the amazon reviews, you'll find some good advice for modifications.

The bag is more expensive than stove. Use spare kid backpack.

No windscreen. Not practical for outdoor use. Coleman folding camp stoves have had windscreens for decades because they are needed even in slightly breezy conditions. It's easy and inexpensive to make a bare bones gas burner. Not a good price.

Thats why I never use the links and search for the item myself on the companies website. Slick deals ain't getting affiliate commissions off me!
