The comment after yours links to rtings, which evaluates all TVs as computer monitors. rtings is looking at measurable specs/features that are important with a computer monitor (e.g. input lag/response time).
It's important to note that a 55" TV would be an absolutely enormous computer monitor. I had a 40" 4K TV that I used as a computer monitor for a while and that was pushing it, as far as size goes. That TV/monitor also was used to watch antenna TV (e.g. sports) and play console games. If you're just looking for a 4K monitor, you're better off looking for something smaller and designed for monitor use.

If you want to yes, BUT it's way too big. I tried using a 43 " and it too big and my neck started hurting. Never get anything more than 32" for computer use
Great TV for this price range! I have this TV, as well as a TCL QM8. The QM8 is a superior TV, but it should be as its another price class. Very happy with this TV, picked it up open box from BB for cheap and am very happy with it, no complaints so far.
The TCL Q7/Q750G QLED is better than the TCL Q6/Q650G QLED. As a higher-tier model in the same lineup, the Q7 just does more than the Q6: more gaming features, better advanced audio format support, much better contrast helped by a decent local dimming solution, and higher HDR and SDR peak brightness. The Q7 is quirkier than the Q6, but all of its quirks are in features or performance capabilities beyond what the Q6 can do.
FYI for those who aren't familiar with TCL/Hisense
TCL changed their naming conventions in 2023 to match up better with competition
Class/Series - 4/5/6/7/8
Models - S4/S5/Q6/Q7/QM8
Prefixes -
S = Edge-lit, non-QLED
Q = QLED
QM = QLED with MiniLED
So this model sits in the middle of the lineup, QLED panel without MiniLED tech
Thanks , I wish every TV manufacturer follows and discloses their naming convention. Will make TV purchases so much easier.
I have TCL QLED from 2022 . Its good , but the Google TV OS doesn't do justice to it . So I use it with a fire tv stick 4k max , which is more faster and more vivid colors.

more vivid colors? just bought one of these and thinking of picking up a max stick for speed but didn't realize the method of streaming either directly to the tv or stick would make a difference in the quality of the picture?
