Spirit is great when everything goes right. But when things go wrong as they inevitably do, you're farked.
Also Pro Tip: If you're able to purchase Spirit or Frontier tickets at the airport they will waive the online Passenger Usage Fee. It can vary per flight but it's usually $22 each ticket and per segment/layover.
So for example I had a flight from Atlanta to Seattle for $74. There was a layover in Las Vegas so that took an additional $22 off on top of the standard airport discount. In total I paid about $60 roundtrip.

As for this post, I said DISCOUNT as in DISCOUNT CARRIER not discounted. You want to argue the semantics of posts that you misquote because you disagree with my advice but don't have a real argument to make or can't be bothered to read and understand my points apparently.

Also note that on Spirit Airlines, you may be subject to delays, cancellations with little to no notice, and possibly stuck at an airport terminal for excess of 12+ hours with no recourse, and no spirit employees around. You may also experience wait times on the phone of over 4 hours to figure out where your plane is, and then end up losing your mind and sanity.
or the Pontiac Aztek if you're into SUVs

Plenty of people work in industries who aren't actually that qualified to talk about them. Frankly though, it makes perfect sense you worked in the airline industry, you're equally as useful and perceptive as the vast majority of airline employees I've dealt with in customer service.
And maybe your knees are too far from each other so you pay $20 more in knee fees for each inches wider than 18" while sitting.
How about oxygen fee taking extra breaths during the flight than the avg person should.
Or $15/hour of flight for using armrest?
Or $10 fee for being among the first 70% of people getting on the plane
Or $150 seat fee to sit next to your children?
Where is Biden, he was supposed to fight the ludacris hotels and airline fees. Just tried to book a hotel that had $52 "amenity fee" which isn't even in Vegas. And $65 parking fee per night for hotel guests (not even in NY)
Fact check. One is much more likely to get robbed and/or shot in the majority of major US cities than in the Cancun area. We go once or twice per year to Playa del Carmen, no issues as long as you don't act like a fool.
