Don't waste your $ on these if you REALLY want to keep your contents fresh because it doesn't suck air out. Go on Temu and get yourself ones that take air out. As a long time coffee snob, these "air tight" containers by Kaffe are not approved for retaining freshness.
No clue why you are getting downvoted. You need one that purges air out and has a 2 way valve to offgas for it to be any more effective than a Mason jar or tupperware.
Not to start a canister war, but I agree that while airtightness IS important, getting all of the air evacuated from the container is even more important. However I cannot recommend products from Wish or Temu or any similar site, as the quality is almost universally suckish.

For years I have used an Airscape container to keep my coffee fresh. It's an airtight canister (check!) that includes a plunger assembly that forces out the excess air (check!) and seals-out air and humidity. I've given them as gifts to friends and have received nothing but compliments, and have used one in my kitchen successfully for years.

The maker is Planetary Designs, they have different sizes and colors available and they sell on many sites including Amazon.

More than likely because he suggested going to Temu.

You two are absolutely correct. In my case, I'm in for two cuz they are cheap and I go through a one pound bag of coffee weekly so, the purist air-tightness isn't as much of a concern for me due to consumption frequency.

Love em so far and they look nicer than the bag of coffee I have but, make NO mistake to those lurking...it's simply a fancy, heavy coffee storage container. It's not a replacement for a 'real coffee snob' airtight container. Despite what the marketing will have you believe.

TL;DR Not as good as a 'proper' container but better than keeping it in the bag. If you have a cheap sealable container, it's pretty the same as that but just heavier and more fancy looking.

I think airtight is fine if you burp them. I use mason jars in a dark cabinet. The beans off-gas while they are fresh, usually for about a week. During that time I burp them daily. After that they don't need it.
One quart wide-mouth mason jars with lids are about $1.60 each at my local Ace, when bought as a case of 12.

I only suggested Temu bc of price parity to this item. I recognize they can often sell inferior products, but those like Airscape and others on Amazon sell for much more (containers that purge air). I use one myself and it does lose suction after a few days of non-use but not a concern if you drink coffee daily.

Airscapes are used by most coffee shops. I have several. Same idea.

So Airscapes work well in keeping the coffee fresh? The way it operates, you would assume you've only pushed out the air in the empty space above the beans, and not actually removed any of the air between them, which would continue oxidation. I just ordered a canister off Temu but now having second thoughts!

The thing I don't like about these type of containers, is that there's no real way of knowing how "air tight" it actually is.

You can do a test using water to see if it leaks, but that only tells you that it is capable of sealing well. It's totally possible that when in real world use, residue or something could get stuck in the lid/gasket, resulting in a ruined seal.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and I recently started using mason jars and an inexpensive (~$20) USB rechargeable jar vacuum sealer. You only need cheap, off-the-shelf Ball jars to have a "fool-proof" seal, no proprietary containers.

With a vacuum sealed mason jar, the "safety button" on the lid is a nice physical way of telling if it is sealed. If it "pops" when pressed, you know it's not sealed.

I buy a 2-3 lb bag of coffee beans every few weeks, distribute them across a few Ball jars, and vacuum seal them. When I'm done grinding my daily beans, I do a quick "press" on the lid buttons to make sure they're still sealed. I do have a small Airscape-like container that I keep any small amount of leftover grounds in, for use over the next few days.

If your coffee beans coming in a bag with a one way check valve, it's going to be your best free storage option because it's opaque (blocks light) and you can manually squeeze the air out.

Got some smart consumers here as I also agree the Airscape type is good but doesn't remove air around the contents, though it should be good for most uses.

I use Fellow Atmos and you twist the top to purge air from the entire container until you can't any longer. The freshness of my beans is incredible even after weeks. The vacuum loosens over time but nothing immediate and mates perfectly for contents that gets used regularly.

In Temu, search for coffee canister airtight. See some Airscape types but not the twist air purge ones.

All arrived broken on the bottom. I would suggest that you put a little water in the bottom to test the cracks. All mine leaked. These are totally useless. It appears to be a manufacturing error

Besides not sucking air out, I'm not sure storing coffee beans exposed to light is a great idea. And this thing has clear bottom portion for some reason.
