I did have the touchpad issue with the 7620, but never had a problem with hinges.
As for this one, it's designed for creators and I use it primarily for work but I do some gaming on the side and the 4060 is speedy enough although a bit noisy under full load. I do miss having a num pad. When I first got the laptop there was an issue where shutting down the computer wouldn't actually shut it down and I had a dead battery the next morning when I pulled it out of my bag. Very annoying. Fortunately that went away after a later firmware update. No touch pad or hinge issues as of yet. This is a great deal, especially if you take the time to get the 10% coupon.
FWIW, Dell lists the 4060 TDP as 60w but the Nvidia Control panel says "Maximum Graphics Power 70 W".

I would steer clear from Lenovo. Mine also has hinges that broke within 2 years

It's also only 300 nits, which--again--is perfectly fine but at $1k you can find (and probably should expect) brighter options. 9.5 hours of mixed-usage in their battery run test is also quite good. Seems like a decent deal at $1k and would be an amazing deal at ~$700-800 if/when it ends up refurbished on fleaBay.

I've had the 7506 for a few years now and I want to love it, but it has never been reliable and constantly gives me a Blue Screen of Death. It's pretty much guaranteed every time I use it and I have no idea what the cause is since I'm never running anything heavy. I remember doing a quick search and finding out that problem is somewhat widespread, but I never found a solution. I'm not sure why I didn't return it in the beginning, but I don't really use it every day and now it's too late to do anything.
Other than that, my only issue with it is the fan randomly spinning up loudly, and I have wasted too much time trying to figure out what causes that.
You reminded me that I also have the touchpad issue, but I forget because I always use a mouse. I haven't had any hinge issues, but that's probably because I haven't used mine as much as others normally would.
And I've also been opening it up to a dead battery a few times lately, which is really annoying.
I would absolutely love my 2n1 laptop if it wasn't for these issues, but the BSoD is just too much to endure. I decided a while ago that I won't be buying another Dell. You didn't mention anything about BSoD happening with your laptops, but the other issues tell me that staying away from Dell is still the right decision for me.
I'm just gonna keep using it for now, but I'm pretty sure my next one will either be an LG Gram or a Framework.
