Probably good for spot cleaning small sections of deck and house siding but I'd use a pressure washer if you have one for larger sections.

Use this to clean pool tiles and spot clean concrete. Have both brush heads. Good for the price I'd say.

It sucks that you personally lost your job, but the country as a whole is doing well. And no, you can't get a waterproof drill for 5-10 bucks. They're more like $500 to a $1000. For $42, this waterproof scrubber is a comparative bargain.
The country as a whole is doing well? I guess you get free food and rent from the government....Most of us are paying 2 or 3 times for food and rent than we did 5 years ago...

Great deal, I'm torn if I should get it or wait for a deal on the telescoping version.... Anyone have experience with this one or the telescoping one and can shed some light on pros or cons of each size?
I used the telescoping one for a large bathroom job with high ceilings and it was amazing. Saved me a ton of time and even just for the one job it paid for itself. The telescoping feature did break on me though towards the end of the job so I took it back and am waiting for a sale to rebuy it because I'm cheap. It never seems to go on sale though.

As previously said, I use this tool on my yacht's waterline in the marina, yet you jump to the conclusion that I get food and rent aid from the government because I correctly state, by practically all economic measures, that our country is doing well.

If you're paying that much for food, you need to spend some more time on the grocery section of Slickdeals or shop at Aldi or your neighborhood ethnic markets. Affordable food isn't hard to find. And I don't know where you live, but over decades of property ownership, the rent I charge has increased a total, over all those years, of 50%.

New reports that rent on average is over $1700 and 54% of Americans can't afford it.

60% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck as inflation hits workers' wages
Reported late Sept. 2023 so I would think higher now.

Yes I agree the country is not only doing well it's doing GREAT!

Maybe as 2024 goes on we can get the numbers up to 65% and 80%.

lmao says the ones that got laid off.
also fed said higher for longer oops.

and backlog of new housing construction kept off mls inventory data. for those of us that look we know.

remember this is slickdeals the old timers know where to look you can only trick the newcomers.
drill not being water proof....so now I'm going to pay 40 dollars for something I already have or could be had for 5-10 bucks....
what happened to this website being for frugal now everything is a gimmick being promoted.

very few good deals left.
Don't forget they take off high inflation items and replace them with lower inflation items to pass on the lie.

Don't believe those "news reports". Two thirds of American households aren't even renters because they own their homes and wage increases have been outpacing inflation.

You really believe that 2/3's of Americans own their own home?

If you lose your job in this market of low unemployment, strong job creation, and increasing payrolls, chances are pretty good that if you aren't incompetent you can quickly find a new one that pays better than your old one. In the meantime, you could pick up one of these RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless Power Scrubbers and make good money cleaning boats down at the marina.

The percentage of households in the US that are owner occupied has been in the mid 60s for decades. https://tradingeconomics.com/unit...rship-rate

this place is simply a shill site since Goldman Sachs bought slickdeals. not unexpected when their whole philosophy is to make money at any cost, even screwing over their clients.

Hope you dont go through a layoff, but when you do you will understand what is happening.

I'm in tech which is quite privileged, but the number of $200K+ jobs has significantly dropped since interest rates increased. The economy was running on 0% debt kicked down the road and continues to do so, its starting to catch up.

First link a reputable source, not a shill trading website: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/RHORUSQ156N

Second: "The homeownership rate is the proportion of households that is owner-occupied."

So 65% of entities that own homes, are people who live in them.

Some basic math: Theres 330M people in the US and about about 143M housing units in the US: https://www.statista.com/statisti...ed-states/

accounting for families and children puts it at ~132M households, so 65% of households are homeowners = 85M homeowners in the US so less than 1 in 4 people in the US are homeowners and thats an upper bound not accounting for multiple homes and investment properties.

Your link is the exact same data, they both point to the US Census Bureau.

As I said, two thirds of American households own their homes. Unless you want to quibble over a percentage point here or there, that is a fact.
