It's wild that routers maintain their price as new while it's only wifi6 instead of 6e so only offers ofdma

Not much of an upgrade unless you have 802.11n routers for some reason for this long

I have 2 ax11000 and their range still is pretty bad So i needed to mesh and i still have holes in my mesh that i needed to get a really cheap tmo ac68 to use as node

If you want ethernet just use 5ghz backhaul with ai mesh and save with Wi-Fi 5 routers

I run mine with Merlin. It's been rock solid with it and it's pretty much like the stock firmware in UI and features and some more. I highly recommend flashing it with Merlin.

Looks to be a $20 savings, waiting for the 88 pro to drop.

Matches the historical low price on Amazon according to the Camel, which it only briefly hit during a sale last September. Good price, and I had been looking for one of these! Bought one.

It's been a very solid router for me for years. Never have to reboot it.

Not a bad price overall. Excellent well supported router. I did have one brand new one die within 6 months but ASUS promptly replaced it with a new unit.

I bought this one last year from best buy for just under 200 after tax and it's been pretty solid as well. Did you flash Merlin on it or is it stock?

I've had one (Zaku 2 edition) since August 2022.
Runs well and The Power Company reboots it for me.

I have been using it for about 2 yr and it becomes more and more unstable now. I am not happy about its short lifespan, especially it was a premium router when I bought it.

Thanks. I had my old Asus flashed with Merlin but haven't done this one yet.

Does Merlin make you reboot often? Because when you run stock Asus firmware, you might reboot once every 6 months or once a year.

The only time mine gets rebooted is when I flash a Merlin update. This router and the T-Mo AC68U have both been rock solid for me.

Fantastic router, even gets a signal to the back of my (frankly rather small) house and so far the features even on the stock software iit s running great.
