So it requires a spectrum mobile and internet plan? Your repost of the T&C answered nothing about the title.

It's been confirmed by multiple people already that the S24 phones are all locked for 60 days. The reps can't unlock it even if they tried.

Please stop lying and giving people false hope.

Did you already receive the phone from ebay?? I wanna do the same. But when I went online to do the trade in, it is asking for IMEI#.
How should I move forward if it is asking for IMEI#??
I ordered phone from eBay, got it in 5 days. Took the phone to spectrum store and traded in person for g s24. Paid 102$ difference after 705$ tradein promotion

If yall trying to grab a S24 on the cheap, here's what I'm doing:

$901 (razr+ after CA tax & $20 line activation)
$45 (cost of prepaid moto g play 2023 from walmart used for trade-in)
$811 (promo trade-in value)
$948 (S24 256gb after CA tax)
$950 (promo trade-in value for razr+)
$60 (cost for 3 months/61+ days of active service)

901+45−811+948−950+60
≈ $193 net cost for S24 256gb

Unlock after 61 days and dump the line.

My local Spectrum store had a few razr+ devices on hand last night. I was able to surrender my trade-in and get the $811 credit as an instant discount. Gonna trade in the razr+ for S24 256gb at a different store later today. Lol

The trade in credit is not instant, it's applied over 36 months right?

The scummy in-store reps get commission for signing up 36mo plans. There's always an option to pay in full. The option to pay in full is stated in the fine print. Be firm with wanting to paying in full.

Hi please bear with me, I am a senior citizen and trying to get a good deal. I already have mobile with spectrum and my phone is too old to trade in, not on their list. I use the data plan and it is going up from 14 to 19.99. I don't want to lose my number so can I transfer it to Boost for 12.50 for a month and then in 30 days be a new customer and get the new deal with a trade in (which I realize I will have to find a qualifying phone)? Thanks, I just want to keep my number and get a new phone at a better price than they are offering me as a current customer

Just be knowing that Spectrum will ban people from buying phones in-store if they sense over buying/trading of phones, no one knows the limits, just one day the store rep won't be able to process the order for you. Online will remain available after store phone purchasing ban.

Quick question I know it says 60 days till unlock so if lines are cancelled will phone unlock automatically in 60 days or can I call and request unlock or do i have to remain active services for 60 days. I did pay off device in store but spectrum being difficult about unlocking even though store manager assured I can unlock since its paid for.

Is your current phone paid off?
If so, you can do line upgrade to this phone, I would go into store and talk with rep. and see if they will accept your current phone as trade-in.
Just make sure they do it as one time charge, paid in full, not 36 easy payments.
Do you have web account setup? You can see if your eligible for line upgrade there.

If they won't take your phone, look in the Wiki at the front of this posting, Walmart has a phone for $40 that works for trade-in, just read the warning posted also.

Definition of Free:
Adverb, without cost or payment
Adjective, not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes
Verb, release from captivity, confinement, or slavery.
Here's some free advice for everyone. Never commit to any transaction where the seller starts off being purposefully dishonest. This is no way shape or form free. Everything is "free" after monthly payments.

took a used 2023 moto budget phone in to a store in the tampa bay area (I checked that the device was eligible for trade-in via the spectrum website first as well as checking the IMEI).

told the guy at the counter I wanted to buy a new phone and activate a line. I said I wanted the razr and I wanted to trade in my device. he knew was was up right away. I selected the $20 a month pay by the gig plan. The trade-in value of my device exceeded the cost of the razr+ so the excess went towards the $20 activation charge. i walked out with a sealed unit (the last one that store had in stock), having paid $8. the device will be able to be unlocked after 2 billing cycles.

tips: make sure your device is eligible for trade-in via the spectrum website first. Check the IMEI during the trade in quote as well if you can. do the deal in store, surrender your old device to the rep at the counter, and make sure you get the new device right then and there. select the $20 plan and don't use any data. set a reminder to unlock at day 61. be nice to the rep at the counter. I got the last unit in their inventory. The guy literally told me he was going to do this same thing after work today. if I had been mean or curt or otherwise not warm and friendly, he might've come back saying oh sorry we don't have any left.

good luck

tu and rep to OP. i felt like i stole something today. THANKS!
