I'll try to answer as many of your questions as I can, but I don't work for Best Buy, so I can't quote extra labor/part prices exactly.
This bundle includes the "Drone" module. This is what allows you to control the whole system with your cell phone. First 30 days after install are free. After that, monthly fees [dronemobile.com] apply depending on what features you want. You only have to pay the fee to use the cellular app! This system will work forever with the regular keyfobs.
What do I need for my specific car? [idatalink.com]
Input your vehicle year, make, model, and transmission or metal key/push-button start. The column labeled "FT-DC3-LC" is the only thing we're paying attention to. The "Required accessories" row will show what T-harnesses are compatible with your exact vehicle. I believe this Best Buy deal actually includes this and they'll handle all that on their end (edit: it does and they do). If no T-harness is available, it'll say FT-HRN-DC3 which is the basic hardwire kit.
If you then click on the picture of the FT-DC3-LC in that column, then click on "download guide" you'll get the wiring guide which shows you how to do the install. Please pay attention here, as this is where extra parts/labor may come into play. Parking light integration, door lock integration, etc take a little extra on some vehicles.
Activating the heated seats, rear window defrost, etc is all possible. Ask your installer. Expect $40-80 upcharge, as it takes a little extra doin.
What if my vehicle doesn't show the FT-DC3-LC?!
Your vehicle is not compatible with this system. Bet you have a German vehicle? The CMBMX or CMVWX brain that the website shows is what you need. It never goes on sale.
Manual transmission vehicles are not compatible with this bundle

Mine will be installed on a 2021 Ram 1500. I'm in Knoxville but BestBuy here doesn't do installs for some reason. I have to go to Chattanooga or Asheville NC. Odd because Knoxville is larger than both of those cities. Anyway, thanks!
