got this the last time it went on sale. was on the fence installing on my currently vehicle. is there an "expiration" for the install period thats included with this through bestbuy?

If you don't know then you probably didn't add the "free installation " to your cart when you purchased it.

I believe during the checkout it makes you create an apt date? I could be wrong

If this is the case, I did this the first time I bought it, and just returned the item.. you should return and rebuy but make sure free install and then free harness is added to the cart

When you go to the product page, you need to pick installation and not pickup. Once you pick Installation, it will suggest and you get to add the T-harness (free of charge) and continue to pick an installation (free) at a set location and date.

You better do this through a PC as the installation popup doesn't really work on mobile. You probably didn't choose installation during checkout. Check your order page to see if you can schedule the installation from there or you might have to chat with their dumb CS. Good luck!

Fyi minimum $5.99 subscription fee/m after trial $180ish for 5yrs
Not sure worth it but cheaper than the most oem services comes with vehicle

thanks for the tips guys. And thats exactly what happened - ordered through the app and didnt see anything about installation. I'm past the return period now so I guess I will need to contact BB CS and will be at their mercy. Aside for selling this, any other options you can offer here would be appreciated!

I'm thinking of installing this on '98 Toyota Camry which doesn't have remote entry, but central lock and power window. It says compatible, but will it be an issue since the car is >25 years old?

No, the $200 price was a Frontpage deal for everybody, not just Rewards members. BestBuy has it on sale at around $200 about every 3 months. Search it on SD. I know what I'm talking about. This ain't my first rodeo!shake head
