50% off normal retail price. Only $100 more than the Vizio Elevate P514a-h6.

This is a great deal on an excellent, top-notch soundbar system. I assembled the equivalent of this system by combining the HW-Q900C and the separately purchased SWA-9500S 2.0.2 rear speakers. It sounds great in my living room.

The item in this deal is cheaper than that combination, and the rear speakers in this system are better than the SWA-9500S. The only downside is that the subwoofer that came with the Q900C is better than the one in this package. Mine has the Acoustic Lens feature, while the subwoofer in the picture does not.

If you really want the better subwoofer, the Samsung HW-Q900C is on sale for $504 for EPP customers. And, the SWA-9500S is available from Best Buy [bestbuy.com] for $299
The Q990C is better than this model. It's rear speakers are 4.0.2, while this model has 2.0.2. Also, the Q990C's subwoofer is better than the Q930C's.

Can we hook up in-wall Klipsch speakers instead of the rear speakers provided.

Thoughts?

Negative. Only the included speakers work with the sound bar. Not even other samsung rear speakers work with this bar + sub.

Jbl sound bar is way better. Took this back and exchanged for the jbl 1000

100% agree. I Don't understand the love for this Samsung group of bars, it's loud and has lots of speakers but even the upgraded sub is weak and the sound quality is lacking - especially for music….lots of cheap tinny drivers. My prior JBL non atmos bar sounded way better and had great bass!

Based on Samsung experience the 2 year warranty is about worthless haha. I had to deal with a fridge and it was a nightmare. Honestly not even worth my time.

Same story on my side. Defective refrigerator on delivery, 2 months of runaround and repairs without a working unit, and refusal by Samsung to replace. They have been class action sued many times for defects. Don't bank on their warranty, this is not a company that stands behind their products past the return period.

Regarding reliability, Forums full of people with speaker/sub disconnect issues on these bars….popping, and other hdmi issues…buy at your own risk.

I've got a Pioneer LX305 receiver. Recently moved to a rental and lost my in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and reverted to some old 5.1 wired speakers but would like to have something better. I could really make use of some wireless rear speakers but I haven't really found any to work with the LX305. Would it be worth putting the receiver in storage and switching to this system? Or should I just try for a decent set of ATMOS speakers like the may Klipsh sets that show up on SD?

No soundbar can compete with a full set of decent Atmos speakers, but this one is ideal for a rental. True rear speakers and up-firing drivers make for a convincing Atmos experience. Plus, it wins on the ease-of-setup and price factors.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a 10 yr old onkyo with a klipsch 5.1 set i bought years ago. The Onkyo runs hot (they all do) and the family keeps forgetting to leave the cabinet doors open. Not to mention the speaker wire I have running across the floor for the rears. The wife hates that part of my setup so she'll be happy with the new bar. Samsung.com is out of the 930C and has been for months so this is as good as it gets for the 930C.

The 9500S can be had for less than $100 from BB (open box). Just keep an eye on the website as they come and go quickly

The rear speakers are 270 through Samsung with EPP.

How do these compare to the Q990C? That's only 770 with EPP.

Bought this to replace my Vizio Elevate because i heard such amazing things.

Well - center speaker is good. Overall EXTREMELY disappointed. Its going back to bestbuy and im sticking with what i got.

Way more configurable, way more depth in the output and way more bass.

In some movies i enjoyed the HW-Q990c . Top gun maverick was nice...
But so was it on the elevate.

Ultimately it made me not even like songs from Blondie, ELO and others because i knew how i wanted to gear it and could not configure this POS to do it.

frustrating
