That doesn't involve the A1 MINI, which is what this deal is for.

It doesn't help, it causes confusion. The recall is for the regular "A1" and not the "A1 Mini". You really should update your comment to reflect that if you truly want to help.

There are plenty of comparisons online, but the main difference is going to be the enclosure and the corexy design.
The P1P and P1S are going to handle taller prints better.
The P1S is fully enclosed, which lets you print far more material types (if that interests you).

I think "many" is a bit of a stretch, it happened but it was not a prolific issue.
It has since been patched.

I also wouldnt leave any 3D printer powered on unless it is being actively used. Smart plugs are the way to go.

Pretty sure they didn't turn on by themselves. I believe the printers were already on and they started printing jobs that were queued in the cloud. https://blog.bambulab.com/cloud-t...stigation/

Honestly. I had the A1 mini for months now. It doesn't perform as well as my P1P but the screen is very useful to have. It often throws my prints off the bed. Not sure why the slicer thinks it can move faster than it should. It is also giving me failed firmware updates. And not being able to set the right color in the screen is the most frustrating part.

I bought an X-1C in December and have not regretted paying a bit extra. We all want to save money but the longer I waited, the longer I couldn't play/print. I love this printer. Nothing like perfect prints. I just don't know what to print next.

Talked myself from a P1P, all the way up to a X1C about a year ago and couldn't be happier… I had a Creality CR-10S prior, while great to learn on it was such a chore to get good prints, so it sat unused for a solid year or so.
Printing with the X1C is just so effortless, makes it a tool to complete a project… not the project 😉
