Yeah, it's true for almost all computer games. I don't play anything until it's 2+ years old. By then they've worked out most if not all the bugs they're going to bother fixing. Games are also way cheaper by then and so is the hardware that'll run it. I really enjoyed Battlefield 1.

battlefield: vietnam is not more active than 2042. i've played 2042 and never had any issues matchmaking, theres one active server in BFV & BF1942 per Gametracker :

Taking aside the hacking and s*** and mostly manageable servers to play within online, Battlefield V my favorite game ever. I paid USD50.00 when come out. Unfortunately, BF 2042, buuuuuu. Me not like it!

How is bf hardline? does that have an active player base..does anyone know? I have 3,4,1,5,2042 just never got hardline....is it worth it to get it at this point?

I have everything but bf3, hardline and 2024 or whatever the new one is called.
BF3 seems to be $2 but reviewers say servers might not last and hardline seems like a pike of sh*t...any thoughts?

EA Origin App has the Battlefield Standard (just the base game) for $1.99. Steam has the Battlefield Revolution edition which includes some extra DLC content. Same with Battlefield V and Battlefield 4. EA is selling the standard edition which is only the base game for a little less. But Steam is selling the Battlefield 4 Premium Edition and Battlefield V Definitive edition which include extra DLCs unlike the Standard editions which is just the base game.

I know that they require the Origin launcher anyways but I like also having them on Steam rather than on EA App.
