Digital Foundry has stated that the PC version is not recommended. Stutter fest which it seems will not be fixed by developers.

I had a blast playing it on PC when it first released. I don't recall any stuttering that affected my enjoyment and playability tho

Dead Space Remake is currently $23.99 on Steam. Offer ends on 2/12/23.

Steam version beats dealing with Epic or not having the downloaded shader cache for the Steam Deck, so worth the extra.

Some see the traversal stutters. Others block them out. Watch a YouTube video of the PC version to find out which you are.
