I saw this on Lowes daily deals (02/08/2024) for $49.98. I can't attest to the quality as I've never used one, but it's cheaper than Harbor Freight!

The daily deal ended, but they continue to be on sale at $59.98 until Feb 19. Now they are the same price as Harbor Freight!

If all you're doing is filling tires you'd be better off with an inflator that goes along with your favorite power tool brand. That way it can go with you in your vehicle instead of the only sensible option being that they need to be filled up while the vehicle is at your residence.

I use it for more than that i.e. compressed air to blow things off, etc.

Minimal use, but need a touch of versatility more than just filling tires.

Makes sense. Precisely why I have a deal alert set up for "compressor" as I'm looking for something for similar uses cases.. light nail gun use and blowing dust out of computers, etc. 😂

Do yourself a favor and don't get this. Too weak, too loud. It's 3 gallons and your compressor will run all the time, even if you just blow some dust or half way through your tire.

I'm scared to think about what the quality and performance of a $50 pancake compressor is like, but at the same time I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this.

For comparison, the RIDGID pancake specs are: 6 Gal. capacity tank, 150 maximum PSI, 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI, 3 year warranty shown, but Q&A says "If registered with RIDGID within 90 days of purchase with receipt, this compressor will be eligible for Lifetime Service Agreement. Jan 3, 2024" Noise rating is 84 dBA

.6 CFM with a 3 gallon tank severely limits usefulness.

These are all basically the same at this price. I have a 3 gallon pancake from Harbor Freight that's very similar. Good for tire fills, seating tires onto rims, running the nail brad gun, even some light airbrush work. The motor is loud. Takes time to fill the little tank. It was about this same price.

But 3 gallons is limited. I tried to apply wall texture with a texture gun and could only get a few passes before the tank would be empty and need to wait over a minute to refill. Same problem with using something so small for a larger airbrush job. Just not enough volume over extended periods. But for small things, these can be useful. If I were to replace my 3 gallon pancake, I would likely go with a different configuration and larger tank.

It's for brad nailers and staplers. Not high volume applications.

This isn't good. I tried using this with an air nailer and eventhough you can reach all the way upto 110PSI, the air pressure goes down as you use the nailer and the compressor won't start again till it drops to around 90PSI. It's a pain and ended up returning it the next day!

0.6 CFM is very little air flow. I wouldn't buy any air compressor from HF. All their air compressors seem to have poor CFM ratings.

This is much better; I'm waiting on a sale or the refurb to go on sale again personally.
