This is so cheap but loud as hell. Tempted for my infrequent nail gun use.

If it was maybe 5 db quieter, then maybe okay, but this is trash.

I don't have this but I have never seen a small compressor hit the top psi it was advertised to get.

Not supposed to use high-pressure low-volume units for that purpose. The pros use high-volume low-pressure units (50-80 psi) to get the job done. Otherwise you risk actually blowing up the pipes and also not clearing the water to the extent needed. Unfortunately such compressors are quite expensive and usually very bulky.

You can turn down the pressure to whatever PSI you want. [pull out regulator knob to unlock, twist CCW to decrease pressure, push knob back in].

Generally, no. Not capable of producing enough CFM. For a very small line, it would work, but any real length, it's going to struggle.

This compressor is good for dusting off a workbench, inflating balls, airing up a low tire, using a light gauge nail gun.

I have the HF version of the same compressor, and it's been extremely durable, but incredibly loud and I rarely use it. It has to turn on and off so frequently for any kind of volume task (tires), it's just annoying as hell.

If your needs fit its capability perfectly, buy it. But for anything beyond, the $40 would be better spent chasing a 6 gallon, 150psi that can sometimes be grabbed on sale for $99. Similarly noisy, but capable of far more tasks, including sprinkler lines.

No way. I have a much more capable 10 gal compressor with 2hp motor and it runs for a good portion of the time while I'm blowing out each zone.

No. You need like 50 cfm . A compressor that can actually do a decent blow out is going to cost like 10k
