I'm pretty sure buying used NES/SNES/ARCADE games doesn't give a dime to the devs. I'll happily buy games that have been re-made or even re-released. if they aren't available for purchase, I'm sailing the 7 seas.

Killer deal. I bought this for Christmas and have been playing it quite a bit. Battery life is surprisingly good, and I'm able to play games up-to (and including) Dreamcast/ps1 with full speed. For example: NBA Showtime (NBA in NBC) runs really well on this device on dreamcast - as does NFL Blitz dreamcast

Couldn't resist at this price. I bought a pocketgo as my first handheld emulation machine. I was severely underwhelmed. The other devices were going for $80+ at that time. I kept an eye on these and saw them sub $50 but would never bite. I'm sure they've been in the $30s for a while now but something about seeing a 2 as the first digit of the price clicked for me. Really excited to test this out.

For those saying to step up or that the built in roms may be poor quality. The biggest appeal of these devices for a casual like me is the price and ease of use. I don't want to tweak the os or go looking for my own roms. I'll take an OK experience even with warts. That being said I wouldn't risk $50-80 on a questionable Chinese device. $30 is such a sweet spot that I'll try it and if I'd don't like it oh well.

Stay away from aliexpress, returns are a nightmare. They send out counterfeit fake merchandise and then try to get you to pay $60+ to ship it back. Most people end up having to do chargebacks. Google it.

I was just watching Retro Game Corps' video last night on his top handhelds of 2023 — this one was #1 for budget devices if you could find it for a good price. Seems like a great deal, but I think I'm going to spend a little more for the Miyoo Mini Plus.

I still use a 1st gen nvidia shield. I wish they'd put out a gen3. Gen2 is too old to pay full price at this point.

Geb1 shield runs up through n64 perfect. Haven't tried anything more powerful.

that's probably why, decided not to buy it since i bought a mig switch flash card already, don't think i will be doing portable retro gaming often enough for this
