That's actually the last thing I am trying to decide on. There's just so many options from each OEM, it's been hard to narrow it down. So far, I'm looking at:
Asrock X670 Steel Legend ($280)
MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK ($280)
ASRock B650E TAICHI Lite ($270)
ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F ($260)
ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS ($215)
Edit: I ended up going with the Asrock X670E Steel Legend

Is this considerably better than a 7800X3D for video editing and desktop apps? Or just marginal?
It has double the cores so if the software you're using can utilize them it should be significantly large gains (games mostly do not, hence why budget builds still favor 6 core cpus like the 7600)

The other benefit of getting it through best buy is that you can get the Avatar Frontier of Pandora PC digital copy included as a free gift.
