Been eyeing this one up since I don't have a big space for a projector and this one is only 13" deep, and that my room has ambient light, where this one performs well, makes it might be the time to take the plunge. Thanks OP.

Only concern is if Epson plans on replacing the model soon I'll be kicking myself, but there's no guarantee the next model will fit my constraints.

If I were in the market and the price was closer to $999, I would recommend the projector at that price being it is over 4 years old and $1399 is overpriced for a projector from 2019 in my view. For reference, I paid $1399 in July 2019 for the same projector on Amazon.
