Anyone who is interested in buying this - just a warning that the SD quality is very poor. I already had the full set on DVDs and had ripped my own copies. But at one time the series was on sale on iTunes and I figured I'll buy it, so I can just stream the iTunes version. As soon as I played one episode I realized the quality of my own rips was so much superior. The iTunes version had a horribly low bitrate and had just an unacceptable level of artifacts in low light scenes. I immediately requested a refund. Luckily for me, the bu-rays were released just the following year, and I got them on release date.
Funnily enough - now that I have both versions I think the SD version (I.e. my own rip from DVDs) is better looking than the HD version β apart from the resolution of course. The HD version has a grainy look. I don't know if they artificially added it, or it's an artifact of the re-editing they had to do. But personally I don't like that artificial grain. The DVDs definitely have a cleaner look, albeit at lower resolution.
They started streaming the 4K version on Paramount+ though they changed the aspect ratio to 16:9. I do wonder whether they will ever sell the 4K version. I wouldn't mind buying that version.
Also, Fraiser is a top 10 all-time comedy tv show. Significantly underrated.

To use an analogy - I don't care what my plumber's political beliefs are. Why should I treat Kelsey Grammar any different? As long as they are professional and don't let their opinions impact their work, I couldn't care less. Why should it be any different for an actor, or an author, or an artist?
I do draw a line if somebody's opinions translate into actions and harm people. For example, I don't support actors who were incriminated for sexual abuse. And that's similar to how someone can get fired from a company even if they do something unethical outside of work. It's the 'code of conduct' clause we sign with our employers. But as long as an artist doesn't let their opinions color their body of work; I.e. they don't use their work to preach their beliefs, why should I care? If I buy their body of work, I pay them for their art/skill/product. They don't owe me alignment of beliefs.
By either supporting or rejecting an artist because of their personal beliefs; and not because of the merit of their work, you are the one putting them on a pedestal. Stop caring about Kelsey Grammar's, or your plumber's political beliefs. You'll laugh more, while not having to worry about leaks in your house. π
It seems only Seasons 10 and 11 are in HDX on Vudu. The rest is SD.
It's $10 lower than the lowest price ($29.99) for 264 episodes.
